Full Day Hikes on the Sentul Trails

Full Day Hikes have a significantly more remote feel, exploring upper hill farms and agro-forests of the Mega Mendung watershed at altitudes ranging 400-1200m. You’ll need appropriate clothing and trail shoes, have good fitness, and bring sufficient water, food / snacks – though nowadays villagers have opened “warungs” where you can buy water, Pocari Sweat, tea & coffee and some even serve nasi local rice dishes. Best bet is to bring some cash in small bills if you wish to buy something.

A Great Day Out for fit hikers and trail runners seeking elevation gain and distance, with both traverse and circuit route options. Some of our Full Day trails remain in the lowlands, or start and finish nearby / at Acacia Camp and waterfalls, so decide how remote you would like to be, depending on your fitness and the season, and select a trail route accordingly.

Acacia Camp, idGuides Sentul natural hilltop camp, provides an excellent hiking base for an apres-hike lounge, with freshly-popped & salted popcorn, lemongrass tea, tea and coffee on offer which is included in your hike, provided your trail selection visits Acacia Camp.

Each Full Day Hike has a detailed trail profile which provides a full description of what to expect, including whether your tral selection visits Acacia Camp, so that you can make an informed route choice for you, and your trek group.

Ideal for intermediate-to-experienced hikers & fastpackers who seek a “proper hike”. Full Day Hikes which are graded “medium” are suitable for fit young adults.
